PinoKENSTEIN, The Musical (I play Pinokenstein) is currently playing in the Grand Theater, at the Producers Club Theatres in the Grand Theater. 358 West 44th street, between 8th and 9th ave. Performances are Tuesday, July 29th at 8PM, Sunday August 3rd at 2PM, and Friday August 8th at 8PM.

Pinokenstein, neglected by Dr. Gepetto, only wants love, and will do anything to get it. Based upon the famed works of Mary Shelly and Carlo Collodi, Pinokenstein: the Musical horrifically explores our perception of life and creative ethics using stunning puppetry and brilliantly dark electronic rock.

Directed by Diane Englert

Music  and Lyrics by Mark LaPierre

Libretto by Chris McLaughlin

Pinokenstein- Frankie Cordero, with Will Pike and Alissa Hunnicutt

Dr. Geppetto- Ben Strothman

Below is “Felix,” a huge chinchilla walk-around puppet that I designed and built for a film by Director, David Fishel. I also performed/sweated inside the suit for 2 100-degree days at a cemetery in New Jersey. It looks great so far, and I’ll be sure to post info on where to see it once it is completed. Photo by Kyle Fasanella

I will be playing “Pinokenstein” in PinoKENSTEIN, The Musical at the Grand Theater, at the Producers Club Theaters. Show dates and times can be found here. I am excited to return to this role, after having performed it at the University of Connecticut in 2002. Hope to see you there…
